This half term, Class 2 have been busy becoming future superstars as we explored the exciting world of employability.
We’ve been learning all about different jobs and the important skills we might need when we grow up, from teamwork and communication to confidence and independence.
A highlight of our learning has been discovering some of our favourite places - especially when it comes to books! 📚 We enjoyed visits to the library, where we explored a wide range of stories, and a trip to Waterstones, where we were amazed by the huge selection of books. These experiences have inspired a real love of reading in our class, and we can’t wait to visit again.
But our adventures didn’t stop there! We also visited a local garden centre 🌼, where we had the chance to practise using money in a real-life setting. We learned how to choose items, check prices and pay for our purchases, helping us to build confidence and independence. It was also a great opportunity to learn more about the different people who work in our community and the roles they play.
Class 2 have shown fantastic enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the half term, and we are so proud of how they are beginning to think about their futures while developing important life skills along the way.
