Class 2's scavenger hunt

Last week, Class 2 took their learning outside the classroom and headed into town for an exciting scavenger hunt!
The young people worked to find a variety of different items around town. It was a fantastic opportunity to put their observation skills to the test, work together as a team and explore their local community.
One of the most exciting parts of the trip was practising our speaking and listening skills. The young people had the chance to speak to shop staff and politely ask for help when they needed it. They showed great confidence and enthusiasm when approaching the staff, asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
It was wonderful to see them putting their classroom learning into practice in a real-life situation.
They demonstrated excellent teamwork, communication and independence throughout the trip.
A big well done to Class 2 for being such fantastic representatives of our school - we're very proud of you all!
