Young people walking with parents/carers enter through the playground gate.

All LSA’s meet young people at the gates (8.40-8.55am) to support the transition

which includes walking primary young people to their classrooms.

Primary

Upon arrival young people go straight to their classroom or classroom outside area and access meaningful transitional activities.

Registration begins at 8.55 AM (register remains open until 9:20am)

Secondary

Young people wait on the playground until the bell rings at 8:55am for registration. (Dependent on weather conditions).

After the bell rings, all young people line up on the playground in their tutor groups and are greeted by their teacher and staff team.

A member of SLT will greet everyone and dismiss tutor groups.

Registration and tutor time begins at 8.55 AM (register remains open until 9:20am)

End of the day

All young people are to be in their classrooms from 3pm.

If being collected by parents or carers, young people await their name to be called to come to the playground gate.

If they are travelling on school transport, they wait for their bus number to be called and then go to the main gate.
