November was a busy month for Class 8. The young people thoroughly enjoyed all the activities around Cake Sale Day and we proudly celebrated November 11th, a day of remembrance.

We had an amazing day out with two other classes in Yeovil Town Centre. The young people had the opportunity to ask questions to one of our local council representatives, who kindly took time out of their day to meet with us. We also visited several churches and expanded our knowledge of the town's history and its future.

In English, the young people gained confidence in speaking and independent thinking by participating in a "teenage advice office" activity. This will be especially useful for some of them in the upcoming exams.

We’re also very proud to share that some of our young people have started their work experience. Well done to them for taking this important step!

This term, our Life Skills activities have mainly focused on safe behaviour around roads and following directions. These skills are crucial in helping our young people stay safe and become more independent.
