Class 8 had a fantastic and busy month filled with new learning and experiences. The young people explored the history of flight, learning how aeroplanes and helicopters have developed over time, as well as discovering some important events in aviation history.
As part of this topic, Class 8 visited the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Museum with Classes 6 and 7. It was a great afternoon where the young people learned a lot and enjoyed seeing a variety of aircraft up close.
During their lessons with Leonardo, the young people also had the opportunity to design and build their own aeroplanes, which was a fun and creative way to bring their learning to life.
We also celebrated WOW Week at school. The class met visitors who shared their career journeys and experiences, giving our young people new ideas and inspiration for the future.
This term we have also started cooking lessons, helping young people learn valuable life skills and gain confidence in preparing food independently.
