Lights, Camera, Action! Class 5 Visit the Cinema

On Tuesday 24th March, Class 5 enjoyed an exciting trip to Cineworld to watch Pets on a Train. The visit provided a fantastic, hands-on experience to support our current English unit on recounts.
By immersing themselves in the magic of the big screen, the young people now have a shared experience to draw upon as they practice retelling events in chronological order.
The verdict from the young people? The film was a huge hit, receiving an enthusiastic "thumbs up" across the board!
We look forward to seeing their adventures translated into some brilliant writing back in the classroom.
