Dorset Residential Trip 2026

The Dorset residential last week was an absolute blast!

From the moment the group arrived, there was a real sense of excitement and adventure. The young people quickly settled in and embraced everything the trip had to offer, showing confidence, curiosity, and teamwork throughout their stay.

Across the three days, they took part in a range of new experiences and challenges, trying activities that pushed them out of their comfort zones and helped them build important life skills. Whether it was working together in groups, developing independence, or simply having a go at something new, everyone made fantastic progress in their own way.

There were plenty of big laughs along the way too. Shared meals, evening activities, and time spent together helped create a strong sense of community within the group. Staff were incredibly proud of how supportive the young people were of one another, celebrating each other’s successes and encouraging their friends throughout.

Most importantly, the trip created memories that will last long after returning to school. For many, it was a chance to grow in confidence, build friendships, and experience a different environment away from the classroom setting.

The Dorset residential was a real highlight of this school year - full of achievement, positivity, and moments that won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
