Building healthy relationships across Fairmead

RSHE has made a healthy start here at Fairmead this September, with classes across the school learning about families and relationships and what they mean to them.

Throughout the primary phase, young people have been thinking about the people who care for them and what these relationships look like. In Secondary, Key Stage 3 they have been exploring the characteristics of healthy relationships, while in Key Stage 4, learning has centred on understanding the role we play in our own relationships and how we can safely end relationships that we no longer wish to be in.

Mrs Lewis and Mr Shepherd, our RSHE Leads, have loved visiting classes this week and taking part in learning across the school. They have enjoyed seeing young peoples' enthusiasm first-hand and sharing in their engagement.
