Cricket player of the day celebrates outstanding effort

Following our exciting cricket coaching session with the Somerset Cricket Foundation, one young person received special recognition for their outstanding enthusiasm, determination and sporting attitude throughout the day. 

He was named Cricket Player of the Day. Impressing the coaches with his positive attitude, willingness to learn and excellent effort during every activity. 

Achievements like this demonstrate that success in sport is about much more than winning. Showing resilience, encouraging others and always trying your best are qualities we value highly at Fairmead and this young person was a fantastic role model throughout the session.
