Celebrating work experience success

Before half term, Class 4 enjoyed visiting one of their classmates during their work experience placement at Goldenstones Leisure Centre.

The young people were keen to explore the range of activities and facilities available at the centre and enjoyed learning more about how it operates.

During the visit, the young people were particularly impressed by their classmate’s knowledge and confidence when talking about the centre and the responsibilities involved in the role. The placement has provided a valuable opportunity to develop workplace skills, gain experience in a community setting, and build confidence for the future.

It was wonderful to see our school values being demonstrated throughout the placement, with a positive attitude, commitment, and enthusiasm on display.

The experience has been a great example of aspiration in action and highlights the exciting opportunities available as young people prepare for their future pathways.
