This term, the young people in Deer Class have been learning all about skeletons, muscles, and how our bodies move. We talked about why we need bones, how they protect our organs, and how muscles work together to help us run, jump and play.
Everyone had the chance to cut out and assemble their very own paper skeleton. The tricky part was remembering where each bone belonged - and even trying to recall some of the scientific names!
There was lots of great teamwork, careful thinking, and plenty of giggles as the children worked out which piece was the arm, leg, ribcage, or skull.
The class did an amazing job, and now we have a wonderful display of skeletons showing just how much Deer Class have learned about the human body.
