Cooking Up Fun in Class 1

The young people in Class 1 took part in a fun cooking project that combined creativity, teamwork, and practical skills.

They began by suggesting different lunch meals they would like to make. After sharing their ideas, everyone voted to choose the most popular dish.

Next, the young people worked together to write a shopping list of all the ingredients they would need. They checked quantities, thought about costs, and made sure everything was planned out carefully.

Then it was off to the shops! The young people found and bought their ingredients before heading back to school to start cooking.

In the kitchen, they followed the recipe step by step, and worked as a team to prepare their meal. The room was full of lovely smells and happy chatter as everyone helped out.

Finally, they sat down together to enjoy the food they had made - and it tasted amazing!

This activity gave our young people a great chance to build their confidence, learn new cooking skills, and experience the joy of making and sharing a meal together.
