Fairmead School

Making memories

Welcome

Fairmead School is situated on the outskirts of Yeovil in the county of Somerset.  It has a wide catchment area across south Somerset and into Dorset, welcoming children and young adults between the ages of four and nineteen.

The school currently has 150 students on roll, and caters for autistic children/young people and children/young people with moderate learning difficulties.

The students are safe here, as all aspects of Safeguarding practice are upheld and adhered to.  This is reflected in our Learning Pathways Curriculum, where students learn to keep themselves safe online, in the community, or who they can talk to if they feel worried.

At Fairmead we are dedicated in improving the social and emotional well-being of our students and offer Music, Drama and Social Interaction therapy along with Thrive and Forest School sessions.

The school community promotes British Values; through tolerance, understanding and respecting diversity.  We encourage and support our students to develop skills, understanding and knowledge so they can make informed and positive choices about their futures.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website and you find all the information you are looking for.  Please contact the school directly with any queries you may wish to follow up.

Thank you for visiting our school!
